Eula Valdes with Bagets co-stars

Eula Valdes stirred nostalgia among 80s fans when she posted her picture with 'Bagets' co-stars Herbert Bautista, Ramon Christopher, Yayo Aguila, Cheska Iñigo, and Raymond Lauchengco.

Actress Eula Valdes gave 80s fans a treat with her latest post on Instagram.

The veteran actress posted a picture of her with showbiz friends and Bagets co-stars Herbert Bautista, Ramon Christopher, Yayo Aguila, Cheska Iñigo, and Raymond Lauchengco.

Bagets was a teenage drama-comedy movie directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes.

The movie first came out on February 2, 1984, followed by a sequel in November that same year.

The success of Bagets made its young cast instant stars particularly Aga Muhlach, Herbert Bautista, William Martinez, J.C. Bonnin, and Yayo Aguila.

“Ang samahan na nabuo nung kabataan, hinubog ng saya, respeto at pinatibay ng panahon,” wrote Eula on Instagram

“BAGETS” nakaukit sa bato, hindi na mabubuwag mahal ko kayo. Palaliman ito, Oh ha! MERI KRISMAS mula sa mga batang 80s.”

Eula's post generated nostalgia among her followers with some clamoring for a reunion movie of the entire cast members.

“Favorite movie! May original vcd pa ako ng movie nila! Keeping it until now!” wrote lanie_vr03.

“Kakamiss I wish to see u all in one interview together to reminisce those days #80s,” reacted afmin028.

“Friendship goals,” wrote elaisamari.

Talks of a reunion movie did come up in 2007 with original director Maryo J. de los Reyes enlisted by Viva Films to oversee the project.

Plans, unfortunately, fell through as some cast members reportedly expressed apprehension in joining the movie.

Director Maryo J, sadly, passed away on January 27, 2018 at the age of 65.

For now, a reunion movie seems far-fetched. Fans, however, can take consolation with the fact that the majority of the cast members have remained close and in touch.
