Korean actor Song Joong-ki is a handsome and super smart space pilot named Tae-ho in the upcoming science fiction film Space Sweepers. Tae-ho leads a team of misfits who join him as a crew for an out-of-this-world exploration of outer space.

The film is set in the year 2092, where Earth has become uninhabitable and humans left too much space debris and have moved to a new planet. The film follows a motley crew of "space sweepers" who rummage through space debris for a living while aboard their vessel, Spaceship Victory.

The star-studded cast of Space Sweepers includes Song Joong-ki, Kim Tae-ri, Jin Seon-kyu, and Yoo Hae-jin as the crew of a space junk collector ship. The space scavengers stumble upon a humanoid robot named Dorothy who turns out to be a destructive enemy. The crew finds themselves in a sticky situation as they get involved in a dangerous business deal.

The new trailer released on January 19 opens up with a glimpse of the crew including pilot Tae-ho, captain Jang (Kim Tae-ri), engineer Tiger Park (Jin Seon-j=kyu), and the ship's robot (Yoo Hae-jin) as they make a living by collecting and selling space debris.

They then come across Dorothy, a robot which happens to look like a human child. They get excited of their new find, in hopes of getting a lucky break. But things turn for the worse as Dorothy reveals her true form.

Will the crew manage to escape their unlucky fate and bring back life on Earth? Catch Space Sweepers on Netflix, premiering on February 5, 2021.
