Heart Evangelista

“Mis-understood 2021 goes to…” says Heart Evangelista as she answers rumors about being an entitled celebrity.

Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista is known to be a girly-girl.

In fact, she herself admits being “maarte” at times, but that doesn't mean she's rude when it comes to interacting with people on a daily basis.

That's why on Twitter, Heart was taken aback when a netizen listed her as one of the celebrities who feel “entitled” and “uses the 'artista ako' card.”

The netizen added, “I'm not a big fan of Heart, and I just saw the comment on TikTok from a cabin crew and was surprised because I like Heart.”

To which the Kapuso actress responded, “Wait? Where and when? I need to know 'cause I don't --

“I mean, I'm not an angel, so far from being perfect, but I'd rather they say she's so maarte! Let's state the obvious 'cause I can't deny that.”

“I never had a bad experience on the plane -- Well, except that one time I asked if they can help me with my luggage 'cause I had a miscarriage, and I wasn't allowed to carry anything heavy. But the guy gave me a look, so I ended up doing it myself.”

The 36-year-old fashionista added, “He wasn't Pinoy, so he didn't know me at all! Baka naartehan lang siguro sa akin kasi naka-heels ako (most of the time).

“One thing for sure, I would never be 'feelingera.'”

In response, the netizen shared that she was honestly surprised that the actress was on the list, given her reputation for being kind-hearted towards everyone she meets.

“That's rude of him!” the netizen said.

“And no, you don't need to explain yourself, Ms. Heart! I didn't believe it naman. I was just surprised na kasama ka doon sa list n'ya.”

Heart answered, “I don't think he's rude. Sometimes, you need to get to know the person first siguro.

“It's natural that some people judge you, and that's fine. You can't win them all.”

Meanwhile, many of Heart's fans can't seem to fathom that she'd be accused of being entitled, prompting the actress to laugh off the comment and even shared that she and her bashers would find a middle ground someday.

“Mis-- understood 2021 goes to… charaught!" she jokingly said.

“Ok, good night, na. Napasilip lang sa Twitter world. Keep safe, everyone.

“Bashers, one day, magiging okay din tayo. One night of karaoke lang 'yan at friends na tayo.”
