K-pop kings Rain and Jackson Wang have officially released the music video of their latest musical collaboration, and it's indeed “Magnetic.”

On Wednesday, March 10, Rain published the music video of “Magnetic” off his latest EP, “PIECES by Rain.”

The 3-minute song initially showcases Rain and Jackson as two works of art before time goes into a full stop revealing the two singers roaming around a chic gallery opening as they perform the song while wearing sophisticated suits.

“Magnetic” is the second track off of Rain's latest EP that features a unique mix of Korean and English vocals woven together in a suave, sophisticated beat.

This is a titular moment for Jackson as the Hong Kong native was the one who not only composed, arranged, and wrote the song but also the one who directed and thought of the music video.

Over on his Weibo account, the GOT7 member hinted how he always wanted to collaborate with the legendary idol since meeting him in his trainee days under JYP Entertainment.

He said, as translated by Twitter account Jackson Wang Global, “First drop. I hope everyone will like 'Magnetic.'

“We [Jackson and Rain] collaborated after knowing each other for 10 years. We have almost identical backgrounds -- from debuting under JYP to becoming business partners with Sublime. We happened to make the same decisions along our journey.

“To me, he is not only just a legend, senior, and artist, but he is also my older brother now.

“TEAM WANG is also honored to produce [this song and music video] for Rain.”

Jackson added, “'Magnetic' is one of the many works I will be releasing this year. I hope to showcase myself as much as possible and release more TEAM WANG concepts and productions.

“The production department, apart from the fundamentals of music: writing lyrics, composing, and production. It even produces the MV. I wrote the script and directed the MV together with TEAM WANG production.

“The production every time, the process every time. Every moment is a part of TEAM WANG and I.”

In previous tweets, Jackson hinted that he has more than 30+ projects lined up for this year alone. No wonder Rain even commended the K-pop idol as a “genius.”
