From getting the swab tests until the last day of taping, Maricar de Mesa shares a glimpse of how life is on the set of 'Legal Wives.'

Have you ever wondered how life is in a lock-in taping from start to finish?

In a vlog, actress Maricar de Mesa gave a glimpse of what life was like on the set of upcoming cultural drama series Legal Wives.

The show had its first lock-in taping in December last year.

"I'm excited to share to all of you that I will be a part of GMA-7's new teleserye called 'Legal Wives.' In this new teleserye, hindi ako kontrabida. Maiba naman. I will be playing a Muslim woman. Mommy ako dito ni Ms. Bianca Umali and then ang husband ko dito, si Bernard Palanca," Maricar says in the beginning of the video.

She also revealed that is was one of the first few jobs she took after nine months of not working.

"In this video, I will show you our behind-the-scenes sa aming first lock-in taping nitong December lang. Lahat kami halos walang work. It's been nine months, nawalan ng trabaho, so lahat kami nangangapa and everyone's adjusting.

"You get to see how we work together. Makikita niyo pa 'yung ibang mga cast members dito sa aming bagong teleserye," she explained.

The video then showed Maricar getting a swab test and driving to the show's location after a few days.

She also revealed that Legal Wives has on-site medics who monitor the health of the cast and crew.

"So here in our location, meron po kaming mga medics and then they get our vital signs," Maricar shared.

"Kukunan kami ng blood pressure tapos 'yung body temperature para mamonitor nila 'yung health namin, make sure na healthy kami lahat dito sa set," she added.

Maricar also gave a quick preview of a few scenes with co-stars Bianca, Bernard, Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo, and Ashley Ortega.

On their day off, Maricar took to exploring the resort which served as their set.

"Since it's a Sunday, day off naming lahat. Walang nagwo-work ng Sunday sa production namin. It's time for us to go around. Sumama ako sa kanila, look at our location. Ang daming pwedeng gawin by the lake," she shared.

She admitted that she was a bit unprepared and did not properly pack for recreation.

"Ang daming activities, puro water activities 'yan. Siguro mamaya I'll try one. Gusto yata nilang mag-zipline kaya lang hindi ako prepared.

"Akala four or five straight days ako magte-tape so hindi ako nagdala ng anything. Wala akong running shoes. Wala akong dalang pang-sports. Naka tsinelas lang ako, naka shorts pero I'll try to join them," she says.
