Baekhyun

EXO's Baekhyun has officially released the music video for 'Bambi' and it will bring you on a fairytale like no other.

After nearly a year since his last Korean EP, EXO vocalist Baekhyun is back with his latest mini album and its title track, “Bambi.”

In his 4-minute music video, Baekhyun goes on a wild train ride as he dances along the tracks wearing several black and white ensembles as if he's in a noir film.

“Bambi” is a groovy R&B track that tells a mature love story using fairy tale expressions like “I've been waiting for you Tinkerbell,” “Whenever I'm with you every day is like Neverland,” and “You're my Bambi.”

The mini-album contains six tracks, namely “Bambi,” “Love Scene,” “All I Got,” “Privacy,” “Cry for Love,” and “Amusement Park.”

During his VLive session, Baekhyun recalled how he worked hard in preparing the album since he received so much love from fans, though he does feel a bit of pressure.

“Lets pray that this nervousness is the blissful kind and when the album is out, everyone can be happy and give my album, songs, and MV lots of love. EXO-Ls, I love you all,” he said.

He also went through each track one by one and described the video of his title track as “the music video of his life.”

Before the release of the album, Baekhyun already made records as the pre-order for “Bambi” has recorded over 830,000 sales, making it his greatest record yet.

Previously, the EXO member was hailed the first “million seller” solo artist in 19 years with his second mini-album “Delight” which swept both domestic and foreign charts and received an official triple platinum certification.

“Bambi” is said to be Baekhyun's gift to fans as he shared that he will be the sixth EXO member to enlist in the military.

He shared with his followers and fans that he was only able to postpone his enlistment until the end of March.

Baekhyun said briefly in Instagram Stories, “I wanted to tell you about it. I thought a lot about whether I should tell you at the start of March or just tell you later. The end of March is the final date at which I could push back my military enlistment. That's why nothing has been scheduled for April.”

Furthermore, he revealed that his group filmed a lot of content in advance that will be released soon on YouTube and other platforms.

Though his announcement was abrupt, the EXO crooner reassured fans that he'll be back.

“It's not like we're being separated forever. I wanted it to be like, 'I'll be right back.'”

Baekhyun is the sixth member to enlist, joining Chanyeol, as well as Chen and Suho. EXO members D.O. and Xiumin have both already completed their service.
