Actress Alice Dixson made a surprise announcement today, April 2, Good Friday.

Posting on Instagram, the 51-year-old Alice shared a picture of her holding a piece of document with what appears to be an infant's feet print.

“Despite the unexpected trials this year, God gave us a little miracle...,” wrote Alice.

“For those of you who really know me - you've known that I've been praying for this every year on my birthday for 10 years now. Each year - my wish the same when I blew out my candles.”

She continued, “So with great patience, belief and trust - I am happy to announce my wish has finally come true. Our newest little family member has arrived.”

It's no secret that Alice dreams of having a baby and being a mom despite her advanced age.

In a TV interview back in 2019, Alice told broadcast journalist Karen Davila about her wish to have a baby through surrogacy.

“Well, my personal journey is super personal, pero sige I will share it. We are still in the process of surrogacy. My partner and I, oo. So I have not given up on that. I think this is our last year to try,” she shared.

“Sa akin it was never about the way I would look after. It was about my age and my concern about the safety of the child, the wellness of the pregnancy.”

Alice also told GMA-7's Pia Arcangel when she guested on Tunay na Buhay last year.

“Well, we still want to have a baby. We're still trying to have a baby. So 'yon 'yung wish ko,” Alice, who will be seen in GMA's upcoming drama-romance series, Legal Wives, said.

Alice was once married to businessman Ronnie Miranda but separated after 14 years of togetherness.
