Ayon sa global superstars BTS, nakaranas din sila ng diskriminasyon dahil sa kanilang pagiging Asian.
Nakiisa ng K-pop boy group na BTS sa #StopAsianHate campaign kasabay ng paglaganap ng hate crimes laban sa mga Asian sa Amerika.
Nagsimula ang naturang campaign mula sa sunud-sunod na balita ng hate crimes kung saan biktima ang mga Asian.
Isa na sa pinaka maingay na balita ay ang pananadyak at panununtok ni Brandon Elliot sa isang 65 taong gulang na Filipina-American habang naglalakad ito sa midtown Manhattan patungong simbahan.
Una rito, anim naman sa walong katao ang napatay sa pamamaril sa ilang spa sa Atlanta-area kamakailan. Kinumpirma rin ng South Korean Consulate sa Atlanta na apat daw sa mgfa nasawi ay Koreans.

Sa isang tweet sa official Twitter account ng BTS, kinondena ng grupo ang diskrimasyon na natatanggap ng Asian sa ibang bahagi ng kontinente.
Anila, nakaranas din sila ng diskriminasyon, na naging dahilan para maramdaman nilang “powerless” sila at mawalan ng “self-esteem.”
"We recall moments when we faced discrimination as Asians. We have endured expletives without reason and were mocked for the way we look. We were even asked why Asians speak English,” anang BTS.
“We cannot put into words the pain of becoming the subject of hatred and violence for such a reason. Our own experiences are inconsequential compared to the events that have occurred over the past weeks. But these experiences were enough to make us feel powerless and chip away our self-esteem.”
Nakiramay din ang grupo sa pamilya ng mga biktima ng hate crimes.
“We send our deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. We feel grief and anger,” anila.
Kaya sigaw ng grupo, "We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together."

Hindi lang ang BTS ang naging maingay sa pagkundina sa hate crimes laban sa Asians. May mga American celebrities at local artists din na nagpakita ng suporta sa #StopAsianHate campaign.
