Maine Mendoza issued an apology for her old tweets which have resurfaced recently.
It seemed that some Twitter users have dug up her account and reposted some of her tweets which contained negative remarks including her dislike for international singers Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.
These tweets were posted as early as 2011, years before Maine became a Phenomenal Star.
On her Twitter post last night, April 16, the Eat Bulaga host said, "Hi tweeps! I've been receiving a lot of messages about my tweets several years ago.
"Sending my sincerest apologies to those whom I have offended with my tweets way back then.
"It was my careless self talking and I didn't mean to offend anyone. I am sincerely sorry. [pleading face]."

On her next tweet, the 26-year-old TV host-actress assured fans that she already learned from her past.
"Through the years, I have learned to be more careful with my thoughts and words- and how it would affect the people around me.
"Hope you hear me out this time. Praying for everyone's safety and sanity in these trying times. [heart suit]."
