Comedian Ate Gay is finally on the road to recovery from a distressing battle with pneumonia.
He gave a Facebook update on Sunday, April 18, narrating how he coped with his severe symptoms and also shared photos of red patches on his legs and scars on his mouth.
Ate Gay, real name Gil Aducas Morales, wrote in his caption, "Nagpagaling nagpalakas…tiniis ko dahil sa kagustuhan kong mabuhay."
He continued, "Sabi ng doktor pangalawang buhay ko na daw ito… buti daw at ginusto kong gumaling."
Ate Gay was admitted to a hospital in late March after being diagnosed with pneumonia.
The comedian launched a food business called "Siomai Himala," which closed less than a year of operation.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has hit the comedy industry hard after closures of several comedy bars took place.
