GOT7 rapper and visual Mark Tuan is marking his name in the music industry in the United States by signing a contract with American talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the same label as Dua Lipa, Hailee Steinfeld, and Harry Styles.
On Thursday, Deadline.com reported that the American-born K-pop idol signed a deal with CAA to “expand his digital presence in the United States.”
The news was confirmed by CAA by posting an image of Mark Tuan in their official Instagram account and captioned it with “New client signing: @marktuan!”
This is only of the many great news shared by the GOT7 member following their departure from JYP Entertainment in January 2021.
Mark, who returned to Los Angeles following the departure, has been active with his solo endeavors like releasing his track “One in a Million” with Sanjoy, launching his gaming career, and becoming a content creator on YouTube.
He also released his third sell-out apparel capsule collection, called XC3, with Represent.
Despite only announcing his signing now with CAA, Mark Tuan assures their fans, called Ahgases, that GOT7 will be back with new music as formerly shared by leader JAY B.
He told fans via Instagram Live, “GOT7 does come back. I think I saw an interview where JAY B said that we're gonna be releasing an album a year. So, yeah! That's the plan.
“I thought we were gonna keep it a li'l secret but yessir! You guys will be seeing us soon, hopefully. I'm glad he said that. No secrets!”
