BTS is spreading love with their upcoming English-language single "Butter."

The global music icons released new teasers for "Butter" including a storyboard of photographs showing hearts, smiley face balloons, bread with a heart-shaped spread, a vintage camera, gummy candies, and lollipops.


The group's official YouTube channel BANGTANTV also showed an hour-long clip of an animated plate of butter melting against a yellow background and forming into a heart shape. The video was posted on April 26 and has already accumulated over 15 million views.


Each of BTS' seven members' individual concept clips has also started being released one by one.

The hashtag #3rdTasteOfButter also took over the top spot of Twitter trends in the Philippines



"Butter" is expected to be unveiled on May 21. The song was described by the group in a press conference as "a dance-pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS." The song is their second English-language track to be released with the first one being "Dynamite," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020 after it came out.
