Will Seo Ye-ji attend the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards after a string of controversies?

Korean actress Seo Ye-ji just won the Female Popularity Award at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards. She is also currently leading the upcoming Baeksang Arts Awards nomination for TikTok Popularity Star category while Start-Up actor Kim Seon-ho is leading the male category for the same award.

Seo Ye-ji's attendance for the awarding ceremony is still in discussion, Korean media reported.

The actress has been involved in a recent controversy over her alleged controlling behavior against ex-boyfriend actor Kim Jung-hyun during the actor's filming for the drama Time.

Seo Ye-ji's agency GOLDMEDALIST Co., Ltd. released a statement denying the allegations after clearing the issue with Kim Jung-hyun's side.

She was cast for a role in the upcoming drama Island as the rumors were circulating. Her agency later on announced that she has given up her role in Island.

Seo Ye-ji appeared as Go Moon-young in the hit 2020 drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay along with actor Kim Soo-hyun.
