Mario Maurer, Gulf Kanawut, and Nonkul Chanon

Thai stars Mario Maurer, Gulf Kanawut, and Nonkul Chanon speak up about their romantic side and their views on LGBTQ+ love.

Thai stars Mario Maurer, Gulf Kanawut, and Nonkul Chanon are the latest endorsers for a local telco brand.

An online event was held for the three actors' new campaign as brand ambassadors.

During an interview, they revealed their ideal types and the romantic gestures they've done for love.

Nonkul described his ideal girl as someone whose personality matches his. "Someone who is good at their job and is into me. [Someone who] has a great personality that's suitable for me."

He recalled a time when he went all out for a girl he liked, only to get rejected. "Craziest thing I've done for love. I drew a portrait for a girl I liked. It was the first time I drew a portrait, and she rejected it."

Mario admitted that though he's usually busy with work, he finds time for the people he loves.

"Even though I'm very busy I've tried to find some time for my loved ones."

The Two Spirits Love actor mentioned a sweet surprise he made for a special girl. "The sweetest thing, I bought her a very special rose, a blue rose. It was twice the price, I think it was very sweet."

Asked about their opinion on LGBTQ+ relationships, the actors all showed respect and acceptance for it.

"It's something that's natural. You cannot design it. Any kind of love is beautiful," Mario said.

"Like what Mario said, love is natural and it's just…it's between two people and it is normal. We can see relationships like this every day," Gulf added.

Mario also shared how thankful he is for his Filipino fans and why he has a strong fan base in the country.

"For me to be famous in the Philippines is like a dream for me. I'm an actor in Thailand and I never imagined that my movies and some of my work will be very famous in the Philippines."

He also shared that many of his close friends are Filipino. "I think it's the connection. All my best friends are Filipinos. Many guys around me are Filipinos. I know the Filipino people are very happy. I think we are connected, Thailand and the Philippines."
