Kapuso actor Mark Herras looks back on the night that started it all.
Kapuso actor Mark Herras took a trip down memory lane and shared the highlight of his journey in the first season of StarStruck back in 2004. He was named the Ultimate Male Survivor while actress and singer Jennylyn Mercado won as the Ultimate Female Survivor.
He shared a clip that shows a 16-year-old Mark and Jennylyn along with first runners-up Rainier Castillo and Yasmien Kurdi onstage.
Mark wrote in his post's caption, "Pinaka masarap at memorable na experience ko to sa buong showbiz career ko. Dito ako nagsimula at sobrang thankful, grateful at super blessed dahil dito. Maraming Maraming salamat @gmanetwork! #StarstrucksFirstUltimateSurvivor #BadBoyngDanceFloor"

Mark has come a long way since his StarStruck win and appeared in films such as Let the Love Begin (2004), Blue Moon (2005), and Coming Soon (2013) among others. He has also starred in TV programs such as Encantadia (2006), Love to Love (2006), La Vendetta (2007), Joaquin Bordado (2008), Rhodora X (2014), Contessa (2018), Bihag (2019), and Descendants of the Sun PH (2020).
He has also started his own family with fiancee, actress Nicole Donesa. They welcomed their first child Mar Fernando or Baby Corky in February 2021.
