Carla Abellana shared that she was informed about her new project in March even before 'Love of My Life' ended.
Kapuso star Carla Abellana is set to star in a show following the success of the recently concluded drama Love of My Life.
The actress shared that she was informed about her new project in March, even before the hit drama ended.
“It came to my surprise last March when I was informed I was to be part of a new primetime show - something I did not expect because normally I would have at least 4 months off after finishing one.
“This time around, 'Love of my Life' was just about to end and I found myself preparing for a new role almost immediately. Thank you for the blessings, Lord! I promise to do my best,” she said.

She likewise talked about the new show in her latest vlog, where she shared some of her preparations for its lock-in taping.
Apparently, her fiancé Tom Rodriguez also has a new TV program, and because of work, they won't be seeing each other for almost four months.
“Tom also has a new show. Not that I'm sad he has a new show but I'm sad we won't be seeing each other in the next couple of months. Even if my break in between lock-in tapings, unfortunately 'yung mga break namin hindi nagtugma,” she said.
“Unfortunately it's going to be like that until September. It's going to be the longest time we'll be apart which is more or less four months. Nagkataon pa kung kailan preparing kami to get married, wedding prep and all. But thankfully, we have work. We are very grateful that we both have work,” she added.

Carla then related that after their respective shows, they will be focusing on their wedding preparations.
“Magkahiwalay man kami ng show we're so thankful kasi at least we get to continue to put food on our table, support our families, and at the same time, prepare na rin financially not just for the wedding but for our dream home na rin.
“Tiis-tiis na lang muna. Hindi na lang muna magsasama nang iilang buwan pero for sure worth it naman 'yan because ang importante ikakasal naman kami at the end of our shows,” she added.

Carla and Tom announced their engagement in March this year.
According to reports, their wedding will be held at Madre de Dios Chapel in Tagaytay Midlands on October 23, 2021.
