"Sarap lalo maging mahusay sa trabaho when someone or some people appreciates your craft," said the 'Ang Dalawang Ikaw' female lead Rita Daniela.
Rita Daniela has added another feather in her cap as she received a special citation from the International Film Festival Manhattan Spring 2021 held last May 29.
The New York-based festival presented the Kapuso star an honorable mention for her performance in the 2020 movie In The Name Of The Mother directed by Joel Lamangan.
On her Facebook page, Rita expressed her thanks for the "International Film Fest Manhattan Spring 2021 for the citation."
She continued, "This is encouraging to do better at my craft.
"Sarap lalo maging mahusay sa trabaho when someone or some people appreciates your craft!
God is still so good!"
Aside from Rita, among the recipients of the honorable mention are Filipino actors Art De Guzman and Mia Suarez for Guerrero Dos, and American actor Daniel Grogan for Angel Mountain.
In the Name of the Mother got six nominations including Best Actress Feature Film and Best Screenplay.
Rita was in the running for the Best Actress Feature Film award but it went to her In The Name Of The Mother co-star Snooky Serna who also bagged the Best Performance of the Festival Grand Winner.
In addition, In The Name Of The Mother, written by Eric Ramos, won Best Screenplay.
