Celebrities mourn the death of actress and assistant director, Arlene Tolibas.

It's a sad day in showbiz as news of the death of actress and assistant director Arlene Tolibas breaks on social media.

In an Instagram post of First Yaya actor, Gardo Versoza, he shared a collage of photos of Arlene and simply captioned it with praying hands emojis.

Other celebrities then sent their messages of mourning in the comments section, such as former Viva Hot Babes member, Andrea del Rosario.

Andrea wrote, “She's a very good friend.”

Actor-singer Randy Santiago also commented, “Rest in Peace”

Meanwhile, comedian Dinky Doo revealed in the comments section and in his own IG post that Arlene's cause of death is cardiac arrest.

Arlene appeared in several TV shows and films since the late '80s.

Some of the most recent films that she was part of was John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo's A Second Chance and Angel Aquino and Tony Labrusca's Glorious.

Arlene also worked behind the camera for TV shows and events as an assistant director and floor director.

Her life story was featured in Magpakailanman in 2013, where Ika-6 na Utos star Sunshine Dizon portrayed her.
