PNoy and Josh Aquino

"Sure ako na broken hearted , at very sad si Joshua. Our deepest sympathy sa pamilya," says veteran entertainment columnist Lolit Solis on former President Noynoy Aquino's passing.

Following the news of former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III's death from renal failure on June 24, 2021, messages of sympathy come pouring in from public figures.

Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis reflected on the former president's death and it's impact on his nephew, Joshua Aquino, the eldest son of Kris Aquino.

The talent manager also emphasized Josh's closeness to his uncle, who chose to live with the former president in the family's home in Quezon City.

Lolit also expressed her condolences for the Aquino family.

She ended her post urging everyone to pray for the former president's "peaceful journey."

Our deepest sympathy. #classiclolita #takeitperminutemeganun #74naako"

In a couple of Twitter post, GMA News reporter Sandra Aguinaldo showed Josh leaving the PNoy's residence in Quezon City.

This afternoon President Noynoy's sisters--Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, Pinky Aquino-Abellada, Viel Aquino-Dee, and TV host-actress Kris Aquino--appeared before the media to give a statement on their brother's death.

In a statement read by Pinky, it was revealed that PNoy died of renal disease secondary to diabetes.

She confirmed former President Noynoy passed away peacefully in his sleep at around 6 a.m. of June 24.
