In a showbiz TV interview in 2010, former President Benigno S. Aquino III confirmed that he was dating celebrity stylist Liz Uy.
Celebrity stylist Liz Uy expressed her sympathy to the Aquino family after the death of former President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III, today, June 24.
PNoy died due to renal disease secondary to diabetes. He died peacefully in his sleep at 6:30 AM and was later brought to the Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City.
Liz simply shared a black and white photo of PNoy on Instagram story and captioned the photo saying “rest in peace” followed by a heart emoji.

In a report by PEP.Ph, the late president was quoted saying in an interview with a weekly entertainment show in November 2010 that he was dating Liz.
Other celebrities who condoled with the Aquino clan include former NYC commissioner Dingdong Dantes, comedienne Pokwang, and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista.
Noynoy died at the age of 61.
