K-pop girl group BLACKPINK's lead dancer Lisa Manoban is confirmed for a solo debut.
Lisa's label, YG Entertainment, has confirmed that the artist's first solo project will be released soon.
YG Entertainment said on July 12, “Lisa will film the music video for her new song this week. She will be making her solo debut this summer.”
Korean media OSEN also reported that Lisa is set to make her solo debut in the next few months.
YG Entertainment confirmed last year that BLACKPINK members Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo would be releasing solo tracks respectively, following the release of their first full album THE ALBUM in October 2020.
Jennie was the first member to make a solo debut with the track “SOLO” in 2018. This March, Rosé debuted her first solo single album R, which features the title track “On The Ground” and B-side track “Gone.”
Lisa's solo release is scheduled next as per YG Entertainment's announcement.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to release a movie this August as part of their fifth anniversary project titled “4+1 PROJECT.”
