Abdul on his mom: “My mom had a stroke and was immediately brought to 3 hospitals."

StarStruck heartthrob Abdul Raman expressed his grief through a Facebook post and asked for help for his mom who is currently in the hospital.

The Cray Crew host revealed that on July 12, his mom suffered a stroke.

According to the website Mayoclinic.org, a stroke happens when the blood supply to certain parts of your brain is interrupted or reduced, preventing brain tissue from getting the needed oxygen and nutrients. As result, brain cells begin to die in minutes.

Abdul shared “Hello po sa lahat ng mga friends and families ko, this is the first and only time na mag po post po ako ng ganito.

“Yesterday my mom had a stroke and was immediately brought to 3 hospitals, the first 2 were over capacity, after the CT scan na laman po namin na may namuo na pong blood clot sa ulo niya, I was at the taping for my show at the time, pauwi pa lang po ako and I haven't seen my mom in almost a month.”

The Kapuso actor went on to ask for donations for the medical treatment of his mom.

“Just today (July 13) natapos na po operation niya sa ulo and everything went well, but according to the doctor due to the nature of operations in the head, she will never be the same as before.

“I am desperate and in dire need of everyone's help who is willing po, and I am willing to sell my personal belongings to pay for the hospital bills (I cannot post any picture or video of my mom in the hospital since bawal po).

“I will be posting my personal GCASH account here para sa mga gusto po tumulong,

“And again, this is hopefully the only time I'd need to do this, maraming salamat po sa inyo lahat.”

People who want to help Abdul Raman can directly send money to his GCash or his Metrobank account, details of which he posted on his Facebook.
