Kapuso star Sanya Lopez has nothing but gratitude for GMA Network as she renewed her contract with GMA Artist Center today, July 29.

The virtual contract signing was attended by GMA Executive Vice President Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable, First Vice President for Drama Redgie A. Magno, Senior Assistant Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching Sy, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia, GMA Artist Center consultant Johnny Manahan, and Sanya's co-manager Frank Mallari.

Also present in the virtual contract signing were GMA Films President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, First Vice President and Head of GMA Regional TV and Synergy Oliver B. Amoroso, and Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier Cruz.

During the contract signing, Sanya became emotional as she watched the message prepared by Alden Richards and GMA Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, among others.

"Nakakahiya man sabihin pero sabi ko po talaga hindi ako iiyak," an emotional Sanya said.

"Pero sabi ko nga habang pinapanood ko 'yung mga videos kanina, sobrang ito pala 'yung mga pinagdaanan din, ito na pala 'yung mga nangyari sa buhay natin, at ang sarap lang din pong balikan.

"Maraming salamat din po sa tiwalang binibigay niyo sa akin, sa walang sawang paniniwala po talaga sa akin.

"'Yun lang po 'yung masasabi ko, huhusayan ko pa po, at gagalingan ko pa po.

"'Yun lang po 'yung magagawa ko para maibalik po sa inyo 'yung pasasalamat kong 'yun. Thank you po sa tiwala."
