Musician and Voltes V: Legacy star Matt Lozano performed his self-penned song "Walang Pipigil."

After winning Eat Bulaga's Spogify featuring Singing Baes and before suiting up as Big Bert Armstrong in the GMA-7's highly-anticipated action series Voltes V: Legacy, Matt Lozano dropped a live performance of his own song "Walang Pipigil."

The cover premiered on July 30 in the online music show Spotlight Music Sessions.

Last July 23, Matt also performed his original composition "Kwarto." The song depicts a heartbroken guy who reminisces about his past love.

During quarantine, Matt has been spending his time doing music covers for his fans to alleviate their anxiety.

"Very active ako ngayon sa songwriting ko. Dito ko lang din kasi nabibigay 'yung aking mga emotion na hindi ko mailabas sa totoong buhay. 'Yun 'yung nagmo-motivate sa akin na gumawa pa ng mas maraming kanta to touch people's lives.

"Dahil sa mga nasusulat ko gusto kong malaman nila na lahat ng tao kayang ma-experience ang mga bagay na isinusulat ng mga songwriter," Matt said in virtual interview with GMA Entertainment.

In February, Matt was chosen to play the role of Big Bert Armstrong, while Miguel Tanfelix and Raphael Landicho will be playing his brothers Steve and Little Jon, respectively. Completing the team are Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson and Radson Flores as Mark Godon.
