Three-time Asian TV Awards Best Comedy Actor Michael V. is beaming with pride because his debut film, Family History, is a hit on Netflix Philippines, which premiered last July 30.
Starring highly-respected TV-movie star Dawn Zulueta, Family History tells the story of a simple family man named Alex Dela Cruz (Michael V.), whose perfect life is turned upside-down after he learns that his wife, May, (Dawn Zulueta) has cancer.

As of writing, August 2, Family History currently occupies the 5th spot of the Top 10 shows and movies on Netflix Philippines.
Meanwhile, Dawn is incredibly proud of the success of Family History, which was shown in cinemas in 2019 and was graded “B” by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
