The Legaspi twins are looking forward to what's in store for them in the future!
Mavy Legaspi and Cassy Legaspi renewed their contracts with GMA Artist Center today, August 16 through a virtual contract signing.
Present during the contract signing were GMA Executive Vice President Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable, First Vice President for Drama Redgie A. Magno, Senior Assistant Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching Sy, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer.
Also in attendance via Zoom were GMA Films President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Vic Del Rosario, GMA Artist Center consultant Johnny Manahan, First Vice President and Head of GMA Regional TV and Synergy Oliver B. Amoroso, and Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier Cruz.
Mavy, who's now home after wrapping up the first leg of taping for the upcoming Kapuso series I Left My Heart in Sorsogon, could barely contain his happiness over this showbiz milestone.
"I can't thank them enough that I can get to be Kapuso again," he said, flashing a bedimpled smile. "I'm grateful to be a Kapuso because they welcomed us with open arms. I'm super grateful that they gave us so many opportunities."
Mavy believes that in GMA's hands, he could unlock his full potential as an actor.
"It was my first lock-in experience. I'm working with such talented artists. I'm learning every day. I can't wait to reach my maximum potential for my acting career. I'm proud to be in a great environment."
Cassy, although was at a loss for words, said that she trusts GMA to give her projects that would help her realize her strengths and her dreams.
"First, I'm super excited to work again with GMA. I'm excited for GMA's plans for me and Mavy. I can't think pa, I'm speechless!"
Asked what kind of projects she's looking forward to doing, Cassy said she want to try other genres.
"After First Yaya, I think I want to try drama, everything, action, horror, lahat, wow!"
She then added, "I'm proud to be a Kapuso because mga Kapuso kasi, very nurturing. I'm happy that I'm in this kind of environment."
