The camp of the former Quezon City mayor and actor “deny the unsavory post.”
The Facebook account of former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista was allegedly hacked according to his camp.
This was after a lewd photo of a woman appeared on the actor-politician's Facebook account, shocking netizens and his followers yesterday.
The incident made the public official a trending topic on Twitter as the news quickly spread.
The camp of the former mayor was quick to deny having a hand in posting the controversial photo in Facebook Stories.
“We urge all followers of the Mayor Herbert M. Bautista - Quezon City Facebook Page account to report it for investigation due to malicious and unauthorized access,” wrote the page administrator, defending Bautista.
“We deny the unsavory post that was uploaded in that socmed account. Please be guided accordingly,” added the statement.
Bautista is just one of the many celebrities whose social media accounts have been reportedly compromised because of outside interference. Take a look at other local celebrities who fell victim to hackers.
