"Hate that..." will be followed by Key's second solo album, which will be released in September.
SHINee's Key's new solo era is officially upon us and it was worth the wait.
On August 24 at midnight (KST), fans were sent to a frenzy when, out of nowhere, SHINee's social media pages dropped teaser images and details about Key's solo comeback.
The K-pop idol will be releasing a pre-release single titled "Hate that..." on Monday, August 30, at 5:00 pm (Philippine time) ahead of his new solo album.

Key also posted the photos on his Instagram account, saying "my pre-release single 'hate that' is coming out on 08/30 before my mini album #hatethat."

While Key is busy preparing for his album, the other SHINee members are also focused on their individual pursuits.
Leader Onew is part of the variety show Sea of Hope and also gearing up for his solo comeback later this year.
Minho, who was recently appointed as a K-League ambassador, will be appearing in the drama Yumi's Cells and survival program Extreme Debut Wild Idol.
Meanwhile, Taemin is currently serving in the military and will be discharged in November 2022.
