
Kobe Bean Bryant or better known as “The Black Mamba,” would have celebrated his 43rd birthday on August 23, 2021.
Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa has taken to social media to honor her late husband.
Vanessa shared a throwback photo of herself and Kobe while kissing each other.
Along with that is a caption saying, “Happy birthday, Papi. Te Amo por siempre. Amor Eterno,” translated as: "I love you forever. My eternal love.”
She also put two heart emojis on her caption. One is a full heart and the other one is a broken heart.

Aside from Kobe's wife, his 18-year-old daughter Natalia also remembered his father's birthday.
She posted a throwback snap of her and dad at the 2004 NBA Playoffs.
Several sports stars showed their support for the late basketball star on his 43rd birthday, including Kobe's fellow Los Angeles Lakers star Carmelo Anthony. Carmelo shared a photo of him with Kobe while hugging on the court.

Kobe died in a helicopter crash in January 2020 along with his daughter Gianna and seven others.
