Netizens feel sentimental as "Bagong Mundo," Julie Anne San Jose's song in her upcoming musical series Still, became available last September 4.
Still is a musical that narrates the story of aspiring artists who get stuck in a music camp at the onset of the pandemic.
Because of the lyrics of the song, netizens couldn't help saying that they could relate to the song because of their experience during the lockdown.
One listener even commented, "Every single human being can relate to this song. I even cried because I felt Julie's emotions here."
In her Instagram post in May, Asia's Limitless Star reminded everyone that we can continue to hope despite the ongoing health crisis.
She said in the video, "Still is an inspirational lockdown story. I know na hindi po naging madali ang lockdown sa nakararami, and pati na rin po sa akin.
"Kaya sa lahat po ng mga nangangarap at nangangailangan ng inspirasyon para magpatuloy sa laban ng buhay, you can still hope. You can still dream.
"This is my song for you."
Still, Viu's first Filipino original musical narrative series, will start streaming on November 12.
Before Still, Julie Anne will have a three-part act titled Limitless: A Musical Trilogy which will begin on September 17.
