Both Sam YG and Slater Young were happy to play along to memes comparing them to “Squid Game” characters.

Celebrities Sam YG and Slater Young are proving to be good sports when it comes to their “Squid Game” lookalikes.

In posts on their social media accounts, the two played along to memes comparing them to characters from the Netflix show.

Sam YG posted a screenshot of a Facebook post on his Instagram and commented “Hoy tigilan niyo ako!! Wala akong kinalaman jan sa Squid Games Squid Games na yan!”

He also joked that he did not even eat squid.

The post drew reactions from fellow celebrities like Allan K, Nikki Valdez, and Sam Concepcion.

Meanwhile, Slater Young retweeted one of his followers and joked that his followers should catch his new series on Netflix.

Slater's wife, Kryz Uy, was also in on the fun, posting an Instagram story showing the same character and calling him the Korean Slater Young.

While these lookalikes aren't actually Filipino celebrities, “Squid Game” does have a Filipino actor among its cast. Chris Lagahit a.k.a. Chris Chan was cast as one of the four hundred fifty-six game players of the Squid Game. Chan is a Filipino actor and English teacher living in South Korea.
