“My dad being in the showbiz industry, even before I was a born, it's impacted me greatly in a sense na naging pareho yung passions ko. Parang it was just natural thing for me to follow in his footsteps. Si Dad, he's really passionate about just creating. I think no matter what, 'yon yung laging magiging passion siya kasi 'di ba you don't follow your passion, your passion follows you,” she said.
She added, “It's the same for me. I just love creating and anything that has to do with art kasi it's a great way to express myself.”
On the other hand, Hannah Arguelles gave a piece of advice for those who aspire to audition in GMA Artist Center: “There are two that I can't stress enough when it comes to the audition process. One is to never really give up, continuous lang po, and secondly, to take everything as a learning experience.”
During the second part of the event, loyal Kapuso artists and hosts shared some important lessons in showbiz and helpful pieces of advice for the young generation of Kapuso talents.
After being in the showbiz industry for six years, Pauline Mendoza imparted some lessons that she learned throughout her career.
“Na-realize ko na hindi porket artista tayo and kumikita tayo ng sobra-sobra, hindi tayo marunong mag-ipon. So kailangan, marunong pa din mag-investment and ang isa ko pang natutunan ay maging down to earth. Kung sumikat ka man, ma-reach mo man yung level na gusto mo na ma-reach, kailangan down to earth ka,” she said.
Meanwhile, Legal Wives star Ashley Ortega has an important piece of advice for the younger generation of Kapuso artists.
“You have to believe in yourself na kaya mong gawin 'yan. You have to love what you do. You have to gain more knowledge about life. Huwag kayo matakot. Gain more experience. Be patient, importante maging patient [at] maging humble,” she said.
