Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha received compliments for her "Easy On Me" cover as she gives all the feels in the tear-jerking ballad.
Even Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha was moved by Adele's latest hit "Easy On Me," the English singer-songwriter's first single in five years.
On social media, Lani shared her rendition of the record-breaking song. According to a report released by Billboard on October 25, "Easy on Me" is currently the biggest song in the world as it hits No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts following its October 14 arrival.
Lani, as expected, received compliments for her "Easy On Me" cover as she gives all the feels in the tear-jerking ballad.
According to one netizen, the Kapuso singer was able to give her own flavor to Adele's new song.
"Napakaganda ng take! It's always refreshing to hear someone with a distinct voice, singing a popular song, while not trying to consciously sound like the original. Love it," the comment read.
"Because of the song's melody and Lani's amazing voice, her cover of Adele's chart-topping hit is a nice song to wake up to in the morning," one commenter said.
A follower of Lani even requested for the full version of her performance of "Easy On Me."
Recently, Lani returned as one of the judges of GMA original musical competition The Clash for its fourth season, alongside Aiai Delas Delas and Christian Bautista.
Lani is also a mainstay of GMA weekly noontime show All-Out Sundays.
