Jennylyn Mercado thanked GMA Network for understanding her condition after the production of her upcoming series Love. Die. Repeat was put on hold due to her medical emergency last September.
Speculations arose that the Kapuso actress is pregnant but it was only last Friday, October 29, when she and her partner, Dennis Trillo, confirmed the news via 24 Oras's "Chika Minute" segment.
The celebrity expectant mom expressed her gratitude to GMA for allowing her to resume taping for the upcoming series, which she will headline with Xian Lim, after giving birth next year.
She tweeted, "Maraming salamat sa aking the GMA family for understanding my condition and allowing me to still finish 'Love, Die, Repeat.' next year once I am ready to work again.
"Sobrang thankful ako at tuloy pa rin ang show. I love my GMA family, from the moment I started as an actress.
"Nafeel ko na hindi lang ako artista sa network, kundi parte ng pamilya nila. Madami akong pinagdaanan at kung wala ang GMA hindi ko alam kung malalagpasan ko eto.
"I am blessed to be a Kapuso."
According to the exclusive interview of Preview magazine with Jennylyn and Dennis, the former will also start filming a movie after she gives birth.
"Aside from the TV project, may movie pa ako. Lahat 'yan gagawin ko once I am ready to go back to work," Jennylyn shared.
Jennylyn's second pregnancy will bear her first child with long-time partner, fellow actor Dennis.
The two have respective sons from their respective previous relationships.
