John Lloyd Cruz just inked a partnership with the Kapuso network and he is looking forward to future projects that may come.

During an interview session after his contract signing, John Lloyd addressed a lot of things, from his reason for choosing GMA for his return to showbiz to Kapuso stars he looks forward to working with.

According to John Lloyd, he has long been looking for a home for his project.

“Hindi namin alam kung paano matutupad ang vision namin para sa programang ito. Napakalaking gift na nakahanap kami ng tahanan sa GMA,” he said.

While this new collaboration is the only thing he is currently working on with GMA, John Lloyd revealed his excitement at the possibilities awaiting him at the Kapuso network, even revealing that pitch meetings have been set.

“I have so much to look forward to and am looking forward to a series of pitches from the creative minds of GMA. Ang daming puwedeng magawa and I can't wait to hear them all,” he said.

Because of his recent stint with Willie Revillame, John Lloyd was also asked about the possibility of being a host. While he initially joked about replacing Jessica Soho and Willie Revillame, his answer left the door open to the possibility.

“Depende sa purpose, depende sa event, but kung tingin ng producer na puwede akong maging part ng isang event or program then I'll see. If anything ,'yung ang gusto kong iwasan is to cancel out opportunities,” he explained.

As to the question of who among the Kapuso stars he wants to work with the most, John Lloyd maintained that the story would come first.

“I'd like to follow 'yung content and ide-demand ng material. There will be new roles to discover and new narratives to explore,” he explained.

John Lloyd did have a special note to say when it came to Bea Alonzo, his frequent collaborator in a number of movies and television shows.

A project involving the two of them is something that fans are clamoring for, and if their schedules and opportunity will allow, John Lloyd said he would like to work with her again.

“Napakagandang opportunity for Bea and I, we have an opportunity to encounter new narratives, mga bagong storya at bagong kwento na hindi pa namin nagagawa,” he explained.
