Is Marian Rivera referring to her involvement in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant?
Marian Rivera may soon be heading to Israel to be part of the Miss Universe judging panel.
That is if the actress is indeed hinting at a Miss Universe judging stint on her latest Instagram post, where she put up a photo of herself in a red outfit. The caption simply states “Honored” with emojis of a crown and the universe, along with the hashtag #Grateful.
Celebrity reactions to her post are not helping tamp down the speculations. Her husband and Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes is only fueling speculations with the seemingly innocuous comment “Miss u...” with a wink emoji added.
Fans seem to think the same, taking Dingdong's comment as confirmation of Marian joining the judging panel.
If Marian does become part of the Miss Universe judging panel, she is well-suited for the role, having an expansive and awarded career as an actress and host.
She has received nominations and recognition for her roles in hits like MariMar, Amaya, and Temptation of Wife. She has also been the host of the television drama anthology Tadhana since 2017, and has recently started her career as an entrepreneur with the launch of her Flora Vida lifestyle line.
The Miss Universe judging panel is usually made up of a diverse panel of judges who have the same expansive career as Marian. Some notable names include Bozoma Saint John, who is currently the chief marketing officer of Netflix, fashion designer Monique Lhuillier, and former Miss Universe winners like Dayanara Torres and Sushmita Sen.
