She commented, “God is good! Happy for you and Charl's recovery with this virus!!”
Fortunately, Aga, Charlene, and their kids, Atasha and Andres, are all vaccinated against COVID-19, and the couple seem to be doing well in their recovery.
Aga and Charlene recently went to the U.S. to spend Christmas with their son Andres, who is currently studying in a university in Spain.
While in the U.S., Charlene was also briefly reunited with her brother, former actor Richard Bonnin, whom she has not seen for a couple of years because of the pandemic.
According to Charlene, she first had symptoms on December 30 and 31. She took over the counter medicine and felt okay after despite experiencing continued nausea and fatigue.
She tested negative for COVID-19 during this time but isolated nonetheless as soon as her symptoms manifested.
A few days later, she felt ill again, and her husband Aga also began to experience COVID-19 symptoms.
Part of Charlene's post reads, “On Jan 4-5. I felt sick again & this is when Aga started to get symptoms. We tested again & this time our tests came out positive.”
She added, “From then on, It was an up and down feeling of being sick & monitoring. One day, you're ok.. one day you're not... but we are so happy that we are making our path towards recovery. ”
Fortunately, Andres tested negative and had no symptoms, but also isolated right away as precaution.
Aga and Charlene's daughter, Atasha, who's currently studying in the U.K. was not with them in the U.S. last Christmas.
But Charlene mentioned that they will be seeing her after New Year.
Just yesterday, Charlene bid their son Andres goodbye in an IG post as he headed back to Spain.
