The beauty pageant world is mourning the death of Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst, who jumped to her death from a high-rise building in New York City on Sunday, January 30.

Cheslie was found dead in the street after leaping from the luxury 60-story Orion building at W. 42nd St. around 7:15 a.m.

The 30-year-old beauty queen, lawyer, and TV host lived on the ninth floor of the building.

She was reportedly alone during the incident and was last seen on a 29th-floor terrace.

Cheslie also allegedly left a note stating she wanted to leave everything to her mother, who was also a former beauty queen and won Mrs. North Carolina 2002.

Reports say that the reason for the beauty queen's apparent suicide was not disclosed in the note.

However, hours before Cheslie's death, she posted her chilling final Instagram post.

She shared a glam shot and captioned it: “May this day bring you rest and peace (heart emoji).”

The beauty queen's family released a statement on Sunday, confirming the death of Cheslie.

“In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie,” said her family. “Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.”

“Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on EXTRA,” they added. “But most importantly as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague -- we know her impact will live on.”

Beauty queens from all over the world expressed their sadness over Cheslie's sudden passing, including Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, and Miss Mexico 2019 Sofia Aragon.
