Join GMA Network and WWF-Philippines in the yearly global switching off of lights for nature tonight (March 26).
GMA Network, through its environmental corporate social responsibility initiative Kapuso Kalikasan, joins Earth Hour 2022 celebration led by the World Wide Fund for Nature-Philippines (WWF-PH).
Through this event, WWF-Philippines invites all Filipinos to participate in the yearly global switching off of lights happening on March 26, Saturday, 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (local time).
Before the annual lights off, Filipinos can also join WWF-Philippines virtual roundtable discussion with the theme "Shape Our Future: The Countdown to Earth Hour 2022" on March 26, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. which will talk about the environment issues that the next set of leaders of the country should focus on.
For this year's celebration, the environmental movement aims to be a platform to encourage and inspire Filipinos, especially government leaders, to act for nature and climate.
WWF-Philippines wants to take this opportunity to educate and empower Filipino voters to #ChangeTheEnding for the country by raising the issues in biodiversity conservation and climate change with people seeking office in the coming elections.
