With the immense popularity of the primetime series My Husband's Lover, some wonder if other Kapuso actors are open to play roles similar to that of Vincent and Eric, played by Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo, respectively. In the case of With A Smile leading man Mikael Daez, portraying such character on TV is not an issue.

"I've done it many times in Bubble Gang so it's not new anymore. I think people have found that extremely funny and entertaining, basically because they don't think that I would do it. Like I said, it's not a problem. Bubble Gang gave me such a great sketch; they give me great sketches when I play gay roles," shares Mikael in an interview during the official photo shoot of With A Smile.

This is also Mikael's first time to work with new Kapuso Christian Bautista, and he is all praised in describing Asia's romantic balladeer. "He's great, he's great. Talkative. Me and Andrea are talkative already, tapos nadagdag pa si Christian, ang ingay sa set! When we first spoke, I could feel his desire to do well in anything he does. That's pretty much the same attitude that Andrea and I have. I don't see any reason for us not to have a great time during the shoot."

Since they will be in a love triangle with Andrea Torres, should Christian feel intimidated given that he and Andrea have previously worked together?

"No, I don't think he should. Once you get into a scene, you are completely different characters. We interact with each other's characters. We've all tried to make ourselves comfortable, and he's definitely going to see that. Me and Andrea are just happy-go-lucky when it comes to work," he explains.
