Broken Blooms


“Broken Blooms” shines on the international scene and garnered a lot of awards.

Filipino film “Broken Blooms” starring Kapuso actors Jeric Gonzales and Therese Malvar raises the Filipino flag as it garnered tons of recognition and awards on the international scene.

The only Filipino film selected for the 41st Oporto International Film Festival in Portugal won the Gold Remi Award at The Houston International Film Festival and the Special Jury Award for Best Director and Best Narrative Feature Film at the Mokkho International Film Festival.

Add into that, award-winning Kapuso actress Therese Malvar's exceptional acting skills in the film which led her to win the Critics Choice Award for Best Actress in an Indie at the Mokkho International Film Festival.

Start-Up actor Jeric Gonzales, who claims this is his year, also showed impeccable acting in “Broken Blooms” which led him to bag the Critics Choice Awards for Best Actor in an Indie at the Mokkho International Film Festival and the Best Actor Award at Harlem International Film Festival.

The multi-awarded film also includes in its stellar cast sought-after Kapuso actor Royce Cabrera, Norman “Boobay” Balbuena, Lou Veloso, Mimi Jureza, Rico Barrera, Cherry Malvar, Cecil Yumul, Rosette Aquino, and veteran actress Jaclyn Jose.
