Kapuso primetime star Carla Abellana's birthday post on Instagram touched the hearts of her followers and even celebrities because of her simple birthday wish. The actress celebrated her special day on Sunday, June 12.

With numerous speculations and showbiz write ups about her allegedly troubled marriage with fellow actor Tom Rodriguez, the former To Have And To Hold lead actress posted black and white selfie on Instagram and captioned it with, “My Birthday wish is to be happy."

Several showbiz personalities reacted to her birthday post including eventologist Tim Yap, who commented, “Happy happy happy you are and will be. Happy birthday.”

There hasn't been any official confirmation from neither Carla nor Tom about the status of their relationship. They tied the knot in October 2021 at the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas.

In an interview with 24 Oras in March, Rey “PJ” Abellana stated that his son-in-law personally talked to him about what's happening between them.

“When he came over to talk to me and explain his side, he would cry along with his explanations and everything and he keeps on saying na, he wants his wife back. He wants Carla back. He loves Carla very much that's why they settled down,”

Meanwhile, Carla Abellana recently shared that she went to Singapore for a family vacation and uploaded some highlights of their trip.
