K-pop girl group aespa has finally made their highly-anticipated comeback official with the release of their new song 'Girls' and its futuristic music video.
“Girls” is a dance track that carries the insignia of the K-pop group under SM Entertainment--experimental and avant-garde. With the combination of powerful tunes and lyrics, aespa's new song is on its way to becoming an anthem for women empowerment.
The accompanying music video also attests to this as members Winter, Giselle, Karina, and Ningning fight off villains and perform their slick and savage choreography in the metaverse.
Along with the drop of “Girls” and its music video comes the release of aespa's new album of the same name. The new album features new songs such as “Lingo,” “ICU,” and its title track “Girls.” It also comes with their previously released tracks “Black Mamba,” “Illusion,” “Dreams Come True,” and “Forever.”
As promised, aespa included their song “Life's Too Short” which they initially performed at the famous music festival Coachella. A Korean version of the track has also been added to the album.
Congratulations, aespa!
