Currently on its 10th season, GMA Network’s weekend show Tropang Potchi consistently captures Kapuso viewers with its more exciting and informative reality-adventure episodes showcasing Filipino values and culture.

Currently on its 10th season, GMA Network’s weekend show Tropang Potchi consistently captures Kapuso viewers with its more exciting and informative reality-adventure episodes showcasing Filipino values and culture.

According to the widely recognized TV ratings data supplier Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, Tropang Potchi wins over rival programs in all major areas. Based on the data recorded from August to September 21 (Saturdays) on the National Urban Phils., TP posted 7.6 percent household rating compare with 4.7 percent of ABS-CBN’s Kung Fu Panda (KFP). In Urban Luzon, TP scored 8.2 percent household rating which is higher than KFP’s 6.1 percent. In Mega Manila, TP garnered 8.9 percent household ratings over KFP’s 5.5 percent.

As its 10th season goes on, original cast members Miggy (Miggy Jimenez), Sab (Sabrina Man), Nomer (Nomer Limatog) and Lenlen (Lenlen Frial) welcome new members Tuks (Miggs Cuaderno) and Kyle (Kyle Ocampo), who also starred in previous drama series of GMA.

With Columbia International Foods’ (producer of the Potchi candy) aim of inspiring kids to explore and enjoy, expect more fun-filled adventures as the series goes on another set of “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” episodes showcasing the beauty of the country. Aside from exploring Metro Manila, the kids continue to discover wonders and meet new people from the provinces. After getting to know the Talaandig and Manobo tribes of Bukidnon, volunteer teachers, and Master Chef Boy Logro, the kids are definitely fueled to learn and meet more people from different walks of life.
