Garrett Bolden has ticked off another item in his bucket list as he made a big announcement on All-Out Sundays (AOS) on July 24.
The Kapuso singer revealed that he will be part of the internationally-acclaimed stage musical, Miss Saigon, for its Guam tour. Here, he will breathe life to John Thomas, one of the show's principal characters.
He dropped the exciting news after his group performance with his fellow AOS stars, who are also stage performers, Christian Bautista, Aicelle Santos, and Bobby Martino, one of the original cast members of Miss Saigon.
In his Instagram account today, Garrett expressed his gratitude after earning a spot in the international theater scene.
He said, "Thank you for watching @alloutsundays7 mga Kapuso! Happy 72nd Anniversary GMA.
"I can't be more excited to share sa inyong lahat. I prayed hard for this, Lord maraming Salamat.
"I will be joining the cast of Miss Saigon in Guam. It's always been a dream of mine to venture into theatre and I know that joining Miss Saigon is one for the books.
"As a singer, I know that I will grow and learn more as I try new things in this career.
"Thank you for the never ending support mga Kapuso! Lahat ng ito ay para sa inyo."
In the meantime, Garrett will have to take a break on TV while focusing on his stint in Miss Saigon.
He continued, "I'll be back soon, but until then, please pray for me. Kasama ko kayo sa journey na ito."
Garrett became known after joining the first season of GMA musical competition The Clash, aired in 2018.
In 2020, he christened with a new moniker: the "Kapuso Soul Balladeer."
