Visayas and Mindanao are in for a rare pre-weekend treat as GMA’s prime leading ladies—primetime queen Marian Rivera, premier actress Lovi Poe, and fast-rising star Thea Tolentino—grace Negros Oriental’s Buglasan Festival and Oroquieta City’s Inug-og Festival on October 11 and 12.

Fresh from her highly-successful fans’ day in Bicol with a phenomenal 15,000 audience turn-out, Marian on Friday heads to the land of the gentle people to lead a Kapuso Mall Show and mingle with her fans. Marian’s show begins at 4pm at Robinsons Dumaguete City.

The next day, Friday, Lovi leads the cast of GMA telebabad’s Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas in the Buglasan Festival parade. Joining her on the Kapuso float are co-stars Rocco Nacino, Steven Silva, and Ruru Madrid. They are set to delight and meet their fans as they move along the major streets of the city starting at 2pm.

At 7pm of the same day, October 12, Lovi, Rocco, Steven, and Ruru, plus Gladys Guevarra banner a Kapuso Night at the Sidlakang Negros Village where their supporters are sure to witness the stars give their all in each of their performances. Hosting the event are Anna Maris Igpit and Pekto Nacua.

Happening in Mindanao, meanwhile, is an ethnic festivity of the Suban-on culture of Misamis Occidental, the Inug-og Festival. On Friday, October 11, Thea, together with Pyra Babaeng Apoy co-stars Jeric Gonzales and Elle Ramirez are Oroquieta City-bound to celebrate the said festival in a Kapuso Fiesta together with Andrea Torres, Kris Lawrence, and Teejay Marquez. It begins at 6pm at the MOPAC Grounds of Oroquieta City.

And on October 12, Saturday, Oroquietanians get another chance to see Thea, Jeric, and Elle as they tour the major city streets atop a Kapuso float via the 4th Oroquieta Grand Concept Parade.

“It’s a busy weekend for us as the Network mounts simultaneous events for both the Buglasan and the Inug-og Festivals. And we are more than happy because it is twice the opportunity to bring to Dumaguete and to Oroquieta our Kapuso stars. Through this, we can get to show our Kapuso that what matters to them, matters to us and that we are celebrating with them wherever part of the country they may be,” shares GMA Regional TV Asst. VP Oliver Amoroso.

Highlights of GMA’s participation in the Inug-og Festival will air will be seen on Let's Fiesta TV Special which airs on October 27 via the Network’s regional stations in Bicol, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Dagupan, Ilocos, GenSan, Bacolod, and CDO.
