True to her image as a fashionista, Gabbi Garcia's Old Hollwood Glam look was, as expected, on point for the GMA Thanksgiving Gala, the star-studded fund-raising dinner celebrating the 72nd anniversary of GMA Network that took place at the Shangri-La The Fort.

Wearing a Vania Romoff dress with voluminous skirt, the Love You Stranger star was a real class act. She played up the Old Hollywood Glam theme well and managed to make it her own.
According to Pam Quiñones of Qurator Studio, she and her co-stylist Steven Coralde had to look to the 1950s, the time of the old masters of fashion, for the Kapuso Millennial It Girl.
"Steven Coralde and I discussed references with Gabbi. We knew she wanted to keep it elegant, timeless, yet unexpected," Pam said in a message sent to GMANetwork.com
"Once we looked at old Cristobal Balenciaga and Pierre Cardin works, we knew we wanted to go the direction of volume and allow the silhouette to be the statement."
Gabbi, who appreciates anything that celebrates femininity and womanhood, immediately loved the idea.
Her makeup artist Mark Anthony Rosales and hairstylist Jason Delos Reyes, also knew that a fashionista like Gabbi could effortlessly pull off a look that's sophisticated but youthful at the same time.
"Gabbi, together with her glam team Jason and Mark were also very much involved in the process and immediately loved the idea.
"We went with Vania Romoff whom we knew has mastery over volume and is all about the bow. She added just the perfect amount of drama to the final design.
"Instead of a clutch, Steven and Gabbi went for pockets instead and it worked really well, as she looked comfortable and chic throughout the evening.
"We finished the look with vintage jewelry from Nicole Whisenhunt."
Fans and celebrities were in all agreement: Gabbi carried the entire look off with polish. Even the designer herself said, "You are the moment!"
The Megastar Sharon Cuneta also commented "Super pretty talaga."
Aside from the glitz and glamour, the GMA Thanksgiving Gala also served as a fundraising event for the benefit of GMA Kapuso Foundation.
In a previous report, GMA Films President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman of GMA, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes said that aside from donating funds to build classrooms in Magallanes Elementary School in Limasawa Island, some of the proceeds from the gala will be donated to the victims of the July 27 earthquake in Abra.
