GMA Network and Nestle Philippines


Nagsanib-puwersa ang GMA Network at Nestle Philippines para sa advocacy campaign na "Kapuso at Kasambuhay ng Kalikasan."

Isa ang plastic waste sa matinding environmental problems na hinaharap ng bansa ngayon.

Para mabawasan ito at mapangalagaan ang kalikasan, naglunsad ng isang advocacy campaign ang GMA Network at Nestle Philippines, ang "Kapuso at Kasambuhay ng Kalikasan."

Layunin nito na itaas ang kamalayan ng publiko tungkol sa climate change at iba pang environmental issues.

Nagkaroon ng isang virtual memorandum of agreement signing noon August 8, 2022 kung saan dumalo sina GMA Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, Chief Marketing Officer Lizelle G. Maralag at Vice President for Corporate Communications Angel Javier Cruz at iba pang opisyal ng GMA Network.

Sa panig ng ng Nestle Philippines, present si Chairman and CEO Kais Marzouki, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Joey Uy at iba pang officers.


"Tackling climate change really can't wait and neither can we. As a leading broadcast network, GMA has the credibility, the reach, and the influence to mobilize people for the cause of sustainability and ultimately, the regeneration of the planet," pahayag ni Mr. Marzouki.

Hindi naman daw nagdalawang isip ang GMA Network na tanggapin ang partnership dahil naaayon ang mga layunin nito sa adbokasiya ng network.

"With this partnership with Nestle, we will be able to communicate that it does not take a lot to become environmentalists. Through our joint efforts, Nestle and GMA will inspire Filipinos that through basic acts at home like proper waste disposal, power and water conservation practices, creative recycling and repurposing, and even simply embracing a less material lifestyle, all these can make a big difference," lahad naman ni Atty. Gozon.

Kabilang sa mga aktibidad na naka-plano sa ilalim ng partnership na ito ay ang isang advocacy plug kasama ang ilang Sparkle artists kung saan hihikayatain nila ang publiko na mag-reuse, reduce and recycle.

Magkakaroon din ng tree-growing at coastal clean up pati na rin sustainability workshop at iba't ibang online educational activities.

Magtatagal naman ang advocacy campaign hanggang Disyembre ngayong taon.
