Sandara Park

Get well soon, Sandara Park!

K-pop idol Sandara Park broke her silence after it was reported that she contracted COVID-19.

The 2NE1 member took to Twitter to assure all her fans that she's now recovering from the virus.

Posting her official statement in Korean, she shared that she suffered from body aches and chills, but is feeling a lot better now.

“I was resting quietly while recovering, but the article went out. I'm so sorry that all of this week's schedule has been delayed. Don't worry, I was a little sick on the first day with body aches & chills. I have to take medicine, so I have to eat all three meals a day, so I eat better than usual.

“My friends told me that I had to eat well, so I told my mom that it was good for immunity, so I made a variety of miso soup with bean sprouts and side dishes I liked and sent them to me”

Many of her fans reacted to her tweet and wished her a speedy recovery, too.

Recently, several K-pop artists tested positive for the highly-contagious virus like BoA and Girls' Generation's Seohyun.
