Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has denied cheating allegations against him made by online influencer Sumner Stroh.
Sumner recently uploaded a statement on TikTok, revealing she and Levine "were seeing each other for about a year." She then showed screenshots of past text conversations with Levine, wherein one message shows the singer asking her if it was okay to name his unborn baby after her. The 23-year-old online influencer said she decided to confess her side of the story after one of her friends attempted to sell the photos of the screenshots to news tabloids.
In another TikTok video, Sumner emphasized that she feels "embarrassed I was involved with a man with this utter lack of remorse and respect."
She also said she was under the impression that Adam's marriage was over and they were just keeping it quiet.
Meanwhile, Adam has shared a statement on his Instagram Story, saying he admits to crossing the line in his marriage with Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, but says he did not have an affair with Sumner.
In his Instagram story from September 21, Adam wrote, "A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.
He continued, "I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life. In certain instances, it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.
"My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together."
Adam married Behati in 2014. The couple have two kids, Dusty Rose and Gio Grace. Behati is currently pregnant with their third child.
